Lent, that Joyful Season
Thursday, Feb. 19 – Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026Location: The Catholic Conference Center1551 Trinity Lane, Hickory, NC 28602Join us for a meaningful spiritual experience and the opportunity to socialize with other Sages. Fr. John Michalowski, SJ will be our retreat director. Retreat starts are 4:00 pm on Thursday and ends at 12 noon on Saturday. The center offers an idyllic pastoral setting with mountain views, comfortable accommodations and delicious meals. If you need transportation (or don't want to drive), let us know. We can match drivers with those who need a ride!Cost: $500 for double occupancy | $350 for single occupancyAs with everything prices have increased. The parish is underwriting a portion of the costs. We will gratefully accept additional offerings to help defray the amount given by the parish. Deadline to register is Sunday, Oct. 26. Capacity is limited.

Looking for fellowship and scripture sharing?Sages & Sunday Scripture (3S) is a small-group reflection designed to engage the heart and stimulate discussion based on the Scripture passages used in the upcoming Sunday Mass.
3S meets on Zoom every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. from September through May.
