Peter Judge, St. Peter parishioner and Professor Emeritus of Religion at Winthrop University, will facilitate discussions of Women in the Bible on Feb. 22, March 8 and 22, between the morning Masses.
This three-part series will further explore portions of the Bible that portray women and how these passages have influenced attitudes about gender roles to this day. We’ll plan to look at the Creation accounts in Genesis as well as “the Fall” and its aftermath.
Christ invites each of us along a path in life of service to God and neighbor.
But discovering that path – and boldly following where it leads – is not always easy. Fortunately, Jesuits have nearly 500 years of taking up Christ’s challenge to serve a world in need for the glory of God and the help of souls.
The legacy of St. Ignatius of Loyola guides us in this mission.
