Join us for an engaging book discussion: Zoom, Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 7:00 pm In Person, Biss Hall, Monday, Oct. 26 at 10:30 am
Join us for a thoughtful discussion of Solito by Javier Zamora, a powerful memoir of a young boy’s journey from El Salvador to the United States and a story that invites reflection on migration, family, courage, belonging, and human dignity. This discussion will explore the book in light of the Apostolic Preferences and our call as a Catholic community to encounter others with compassion, accompany those who are vulnerable, and reflect on how our faith shapes the way we respond to the experiences of migrants and refugees.
