Join the Ignatian Spirituality team for a contemplative afternoon retreat to experience the sacred prayer style of Visio Divina.

Plan your Sunday! Grab a leisurely brunch after the 11:30 am Mass and attend the retreat or attend the retreat and stay for the 5:00 pm Mass.

Visio Divina, or “sacred seeing,” is an ancient form of Christian prayer in which we allow our hearts and imaginations to prayerfully and meditatively enter into an image. 

We will be praying with fragments of the Ben Long fresco, led by prompts that will include a short facilitator-guided session, extended individual contemplative prayer time, and group sharing. 
This prayer pattern of praying is like the way Henri Nouwen contemplated Rembrandt’s painting to write, “Return of the Prodigal Son.”

Space is limited. Registration will close when we reach our maximum of 35 participants for this contemplative event.
